Coto Technology Introduces the New DYAD® II FRB Dry Reed Switch

Coto Technology, Inc. is introducing a new dry reed switch series - the DYAD® II FRB.  This series features a ball-shaped seal design that promotes an improved glass to metal seal in a smaller package.  The 13.94mm length complements the widely used DYAD® FR series reed switch in applications that require a smaller switch.  The rectangular-bodied DYAD® II FRB is fully surface mount compatible which provides a more cost effective solution than encapsulated round glass reed switches while maintaining superior pick and place performance.  Ideally suited for small signal switching applications such as proximity sensing, level sensing, smoke alarms, relays and metering applications, the DYAD® II FRB typically provides more than 1 billion operations in low level or dry reed switch environments.  Utilizing a highly reliable and hermetically sealed sputtered Ruthenium contact system, the DYAD® II FRB offers fast switching speeds up to 500 HZ and is fully R0HS compliant.
